More Than Cosmetic Dentistry

Orthodontics isn’t just about the appearance of your pearly whites. While Invisalign clear aligners are known for their ability to transform and align a crooked smile, you’ll also encounter many functional benefits from your treatment. Crooked and crowded teeth are highly prone to bacterial plaque, which can harden into tartar and cause gum disease. They can also cause temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and jaw pain, teeth grinding, and other bite issues.

Misaligned teeth are also generally harder to brush and floss. Aligning your teeth with Invisalign makes it possible to properly take care of your oral health for the long term and reduces your risk of complications down the line. Clear aligners can also resolve many functional issues with your teeth, such as a bad bite (malocclusion).

Getting Invisalign at Marina Hills Implant and Dental Centers

Your journey with our invisible aligners begins with a consult with Drs. David and Russell Diehl and Dr. Joseph Weber to determine your candidacy. If you have any oral health issues extending beyond corrective dental issues such as a misaligned bite, we’ll address those accordingly before starting your treatment. We’ll then take detailed impressions and scans of your mouth, which are used to custom-craft a series of Invisalign clear aligners. Each set of aligners will be required to wear for 20-22 hours each day, removing them for cleaning, eating, and drinking. Every few weeks, you’ll switch to a new aligner, and in the process your teeth will slowly move into place, creating your perfect smile.

Our Spring Creek and Elko, NV dentists are trained and certified in Invisalign treatment and will monitor your progress to ensure your teeth are moving according to your treatment plan. Once your treatment is complete, we’ll remove your brackets, and your brand-new smile will be revealed!
